Typing every listing into your website and then again into Property24 costs time and causes mistakes. Here's how an integration works and how to prepare.
In many agencies a new mandate means capturing the same listing twice: once on the agency website and once on Property24. Each price change, new photo and status update has to be done twice as well. It's slow, and small differences creep in between the two.
The real cost of capturing twice
- Agents and admin staff spend hours on data entry instead of clients
- Prices and details drift apart, which confuses buyers
- Sold or let properties stay online longer than they should
- Nobody is sure which version of a listing is the right one
How an integration works
With an integration, your listing manager becomes the single place where listing information lives. Your team captures or updates a listing once, and it's published to your website and sent to Property24 through the configured integration.
Property24 offers integration options for agencies and their software providers. The exact method, for example an API connection or a listing feed, depends on the access and documentation available for your agency's account. We confirm this with you, and with Property24 where needed, before we start building.
What usually stays in sync
- Listing details such as title, description, features and location
- Price and price changes
- Photos and their order
- Status, such as available, under offer, sold or let
- The listing agent and their contact details
We document exactly what syncs and in which direction, so your team knows where to make each change.
How we roll it out
- We confirm your Property24 access and the integration method available to your agency.
- We map your listing fields to Property24's, including property types and areas.
- We test with a small set of listings and check every field on both sides.
- We switch on the integration for all listings and monitor it closely at first.
Questions to ask any provider
- Which fields sync, and in which direction?
- What happens if a listing fails to publish, and who is told?
- How quickly do price and status changes go through?
- Who owns the listing data if you change providers?
A good integration gives your team one less job to do and keeps your listings accurate everywhere buyers are looking. See how our Property24 integration works, or read our checklist for keeping Property24 and your website in sync.
